Spelling will be lots of fun this year. On the average, we will be studying approximately 16 words per week; 12 basic words, 2 review words, and 2 challenge words. A new list will be sent home on Mondays and the tests will be every Friday. Depending on your child's needs, some lists may be modified.
Plus, there will be certain words the children are responsible for spelling correctly every time they write them - even in subjects other than spelling. These words will be referred to as their "Priority Words". This is a list of 45 words.
