The district contracts with Johnson School Bus to provide transportation services. Please contact them with questions regarding bus routes and times at (920) 887-8390.
Johnson School Bus is pleased to be transporting your child to and from school during the school year. Here are a few rules to remember:
- After 3 No-Show days at a stop, the bus may no longer stop at that location or travel to that road. Parents should communicate with Johnson School Bus if their child will not be riding for a few days. If a child has not been on the bus for several days, and desires to resume riding, parents must call Johnson School Bus to reactivate that stop.
- It is important for students to be at their stops before the bus arrives, so that they will not cause the other students to be late for school. Also, when a school bus is stopped for any length of time, the wait causes an unsafe traffic buildup in front of and behind the bus. Students should be waiting in an orderly manner at least ten (10) feet away from the road prior to the arrival of the bus. **Route time(s) may change depending on ridership, weather, etc.
Please go over these rules and ask your student(s) to obey the following:
- Show respect and obey the driver at all times. Do not distract the driver while he/she is driving.
- At the bus stop, stay out of the street and be respectful of the property around the bus stop. (Please arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes before the bus arrives so that the bus does not have to wait.)
- Always walk when getting on and off the bus; no pushing or crowding.
- Talk quietly without yelling or using bad language.
- Stay in assigned seat and keep body parts and objects out of the aisles and in the bus at all times.
- Keep the bus clean and pick up any dropped trash.
- Do not damage the bus or tamper with equipment or emergency door.
- Keep your hands to yourself. No fighting or horseplay.
- Keep food and drinks in book bag. Do not eat or drink on the bus.
- Parents: address bus issues through your school office or Johnson School Bus. (Parents may not board buses or discuss issues with the drivers during the route.)
If your child does not follow the above expectations, disciplinary action may be taken, up to and including removal from the bus. This decision is made by each individual school.
If you feel you are eligible for busing, please give us a call at (920) 887-8390.
Thank you for your support and cooperation!
