My wife and I made the decision to move to Beaver Dam in 2009 and raise our children in this wonderful community. It was a great decision then, and if we could do it over again, we would do it in a heartbeat. Dodge County, the Beaver Dam area, and our Beaver Dam Unified School District is an awesome place to learn, live, and grow!
Our Beaver Dam Unified School District is grounded in a mission to guide students and empower futures, and we are driven by a vision to lead the way in student growth and achievement. Our students have the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow in a variety of venues. Whether it is in a classroom or lab, on a stage, field of play, or virtually, we will prepare, nurture, differentiate, and stretch the learning of children to prepare them for their futures.
In order to ensure that we perform our craft at the highest level, we recruit, hire, and support the most talented educators possible. As educators in the Beaver Dam Unified School District, we are committed to growing professionally and working toward the highest level of effectiveness. We do "whatever it takes" on behalf of our students and embrace a continual growth mindset.

We have some of the highest performing elementary schools in the state of Wisconsin, and our high school boasts the largest amount of career and college course options in the region. Our strategic plan and efforts live and breathe each and every day with individual school success plans and a commitment to move the needle where improvement is needed. Yes, we celebrate our success, but we also reflect and plan diligently on the areas where we can do better on behalf of our students, families, and community.
To that end, we embrace the relationships we have and work to nurture partnerships to benefit students, staff, families, and the communities in and around Beaver Dam.
