Your child will be bringing home different guided reading books per week in their book bag. The bag will contain a reading log to be signed after you've listened to your child read. If the log has been misplaced, just send a written note for me or print off a log from the attached link.
It's very important that the book comes back the very next day. They will need it for group work or independent work. I will not send a new book home until the other has been returned.
In addition to the guided reading book, your child may bring home one item from our library. Only one item should go home at a time. Once the have brought it back to school, another one may be taken home. The other two items will remain in their book boxes in the classroom.
