The Breslow Foundation scholarships are to honor the memory of Barry Breslow, an active participant in the automotive aftermarket for many years. Breslow, who passed way in December 2005, was one of the original owners of Autospecialty Inc. and a former chairman of the Auto International Association (AIA), now a segment within Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA). He also was a member of the AIA Hall of Fame and a past recipient of the AIA Person of the Year.
To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant should be:
- either a graduating high school senior or have graduated from high school within the past two years. An exception to the two-year requirement will be made for military or religious service.
- enrolled in a 4-year college-level program. (Graduate programs and undergraduate part-time programs do not qualify.)
- Priority is given to students who plan a professional career in the automotive aftermarket, in categories such as engineering or business.
Application requirements:
- Application form with all required fields (designated with an *) completed.
- A 250 word (about 1 page) personal story about your career goals and plans.
- Your high school transcript or GED Certificate. We will accept copies of all school transcripts.
- If you have not finished high school, a partial high school transcript is acceptable.
- If you're already in a post-secondary school, submit BOTH your high school transcript and your post-secondary school transcript.
- At least one reference letter.
- All these documents can be attached to the form, or faxed or mailed to the Scholarship Committee at the address located below.

Scholarships are monetary gifts from community, private, and campus sources and are usually based on academic merit or some other criteria. The Thomas H. Lutsey-Waseda Farms Scholarship provides financial assistance to graduating seniors pursuing degrees that enhance rural communities. The application is open between January 1-April 1. Select on a section below for more information.
To apply for the Thomas H. Lutsey-Waseda Farms Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Current graduating senior attending a high school within 150 miles of Green Bay
- Attending an accredited 4-year college/university
- Students can apply if they plan on attending a 2-year technical school first to then transfer to a 4-year program as a full-time student
- Pursuing a career with an agriculture focus that will enhance rural communities
- Examples include dairy science, animal science, agriculture engineering, veterinary medicine, agriculture economics, biotechnology, environmental science, agri-business
- Minimum 3.0 high school GPA
- Minimum 19 ACT composite score
- Student with a rural or agriculture background
- Financial need as demonstrated by the FAFSA
- Families with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $20,000 or less are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Should your EFC fall above $20,000, you may still apply for the scholarship. Please review the Financial Information Requirements for further details.
