Homework

Reading:

• Reading calendars are due every Monday.  Students' are expected to read at least 75 minutes a week, but will earn a ticket for 80 minutes or more. Sign the reading calendar at the end of every week.

Spelling:

• New spelling words will go home every Monday. 
• Also on Monday, I will send home a Tic-Tac-Toe spelling sheet that needs to be turned in by Friday.
• Spelling tests will be on Fridays.

• Home Links will go home most days.

• Writing - Do some extra writing (or typing!) on your own/at home!  This can be a true story, a make-believe story, a poem, a song, or anything you can think of! You must use correct punctuation and capitals. You must have at least 5 sentences. This is worth 2 tickets!
• Reading - Read 80 minutes or more on the weekly reading sheets.
• Math - Do 4 extra problems in their Home Links (as assigned by teacher).                                        
• Spelling - Get 3 or more of the challenge words correct on the weekly spelling test.
• Spelling - Do one extra box in the weekly Tic-Tac-Toe.
• Have a clean desk and locker. (We will have surprise inspections!)
• Be able to check out books during our long library day (on Wednesday).
• Get spotted walking responsibly when chosen as our "Star Walker" in the hallway.
