Course Description: This class is designed to help those students who struggle in math and require more time to understand and complete math problems. Students will increase their basic math skills as well as learn the real number system and its subsets: natural, whole integers, rational and irrational numbers. Students will use different types of problem-solving methods used in solving equations and inequalities including both linear and quadratic functions.

Units Covered: Arithmetic Readiness, Real Numbers and Equations, Functions and System of Equations, Polynomials and Quadratic Equations, Rational Numbers and Proportions, Exponents and Square Roots, and Data Analysis and Probability
