In the month of May, third graders will also be taking a closer look at Fables. A Fable is a short story that contains a moral at the end. Most of the time the characters are typically animals that have human-like qualities (ex. talking). We will read various fables, noting similarities and differences. In the second part of May, students will begin practicing for third grade plays, based off of famous fables we have read. The exact dates for the plays will be decided at a later date.
