Course Description: This computer based math class is limited only to special education students. It is a self-paced class which takes students from their current math levels to completing basic Algebra and Geometry problems. This math sequence is for students who need math credits for graduation and/or who require additional math to meet IEP goals.

Units Covered:
Independent Math I: Whole Numbers, Fractions and Mixed Numbers, Decimals and Percent, Signed Numbers and Variable Expressions, Equations and Inequalities, and Geometry and Measurement.
Independent Math II: Arithmetic Readiness, Real Numbers and Equations, Functions and System of Equations, Polynomials and Quadratic Equations, Rational Numbers and Proportions, Exponents and Square Roots, and Data Analysis and Probability
Independent Math III: Algebra and Deductive Reasoning, Triangles, Polygons and Circles, Similarities and Transformations, Volume and Surface Area, and Coordinate Geometry.
