The Beaver Dam Unified School District (BDUSD) Virtual Academy provides residents of the Beaver Dam Unified School District with an option for full and part-time virtual coursework. We partner with JEDI Virtual School to deliver these services with Wisconsin licensed teachers.
Applications for the Virtual Academy are available for students in grades 6-12. Please see your child’s Counselor if you are interested in learning more about this option for learning.
Please note that a virtual learning experience is not beneficial for all students. Therefore, we have screening requirements for the academy which include, but are not limited to, attendance considerations, performance in Mathematics courses, and performance in English courses.
If you feel there is an extenuating circumstance that would require a virtual learning environment for your student in any grade, please reach out to your student’s counselor to explore options.
Students enrolled in the BDUSD Virtual Academy remain members of their home BDUSD school as this service is an extension of the school district. Students entering the academy are not open enrolling to another school district. Students will participate in state and local assessments, onsite in Beaver Dam.
